I look forward to helping South Main Baptist Church discover God's vision and helping our church grow numerically and spiritually. It's by God's will that I came here, and I absolutely love the people that make up our church.

I love preaching God's word, and making it relevant and practical for our everyday life.

I was born in Camden, AR, and went to Seminary at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

Stephanie Copes - Ministry Assistant

      Stephanie Copes is Ministry Assistant at South Main Baptist Church.  She is no stranger to us as she has been an active member of the church since 1999. Stephanie joined the Staff on August 9th, 2010.

     Stephanie Copes was saved as a teenager. She joined South Main in 1999. She is a graduate of Hamburg High School, having graduated in 1990. Stephanie has been very active with our Youth and Children's ministries. She has been a leader of our girls on Wednesday evenings through our Girls in Action program. She also is one of our regular video programers for our Sunday services. Stephanie's family consists of her husband Shane, daughters Misty and Faith and her son Brandon.      Stephanie She enjoys spending time with her family.

     Stephanie lists as one of her favorite verses 1 John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." She loves working with children and youth seeing them as the leaders of our church in the years to come.
